I've waited 2 years to make this image. Frosts are a rare thing these days on Guernsey but this winter has seen some particularly cold weather.

Following a night of sub-zero temperatures I awoke to a crisp and icy morning and headed straight to L'Ancresse Common. The subtle pastel colours of sunrise complemented the light dusting of frost perfectly.

My long wait was finally over!
